In September 2008, Incontact will launch a new UK charity for people with bladder and bowel dysfunction, following the closure of the Continence Foundation on 31 May. The new charity will incorporate the objectives of both organisations and will continue to provide information and support for all types of bladder and bowel related problems, both for patients and professionals and will work in partnership with other charities and organisations in the field.

Until the new charity is set-up, Incontact will continue the work of the Foundation and will manage and run the specialist nurse helpline, providing clinical support for patients and carers alongside its own counsellor led helpline. It will also build upon the success of Continence Awareness Week which will continue to run in September each year.
